Esperanza Rising Literature Unit

       1.   Draw a gravestone for Esperanza's Papa. With a half circle on top and a straight edge at the bottom, write a short description in the center as if you were Esperanza. When writing the description you can include several of Papa's quote's or memorable moments with Esperanza. To make the gravestone even more realistic your can also include fictional date and other creative ideas.
Don't forget to include your first and last name, period number, and date on the back side of the gravestone.
